Nightmare Before Christmas

Ok so... today the catholic center at NU was hosting a pumpkin carving party with tons of free candy and stuff... so I decided I should go... I thought at first that everyone would get their own pumpkin but we actually had to work in teams of 3 to 4 and carve one together, then the judges would choose the best pumpkin and give 'em prizes....

so I had a template in my bookbag and showed it to my team... I did about half of it... and we carved the entire thing in less than hour without all those special pumpkin carving tools which would have made it so much easier!!!

so the first picture (taken with a crappy camera phone, sorry) is what we actually made and the second one is what we where trying to achieve. Not exactly great but not a failure either... We actually won with it... We competed with a traditional pumpkin, sarah palin, a spider (which was copied off of our template and made bigger) and a weird deformed face...
